Identification of Pressing Issues - Please Comment

I am just adding a few points here.. please add
  • No standard procurement methods
  • No standardized forms of contracts
  • Legal backing for sector - e.g Professional Services Act
  • Streamlining/ strengthening of registration of professionals
  • Lack of information resources

    I think it is very, important to create and early platform or forum to discuss how our built environment is shaped and how we can help to make it better... I see that there is an immediate need for it

    -lack of a building code
    -regulatory framework that actively negates valuable design principles such as ventilation, daylight, orientation.
    -no propoer, transparent mechanism for the ragulator to acknowledge the experience or expertise of professional practitioners
